Currently I’m involved in this great Pastor/Leaders Coaching Network. I’m surrounded by some of the smartest Pastor/Leaders in the country. Why I’m with them, God only knows, but I am humbled and honored to be a part of this team. Last month a bunch of us got together and began discussing what we use to help us stay on top of all that we do. So, here’s my list of a few things that I always keep with me in my bag. I’m a scatter-brain, and I need all the help I can get. Also, I love technology and anything that will keep in on task and organized. So, this is my list. I hope you enjoy.
- NIV Bible – Yes, it’s LARGE print. This is the version I study and preach out of.
- YouVersion – This is on my iPhone and it offers great Bible reading plans that I’m currently tracking with.
- Amazon Kindle – I LOVE this. I have a lot of books, and now I can carry them ALL in my bag. Below I’ve listed 2 of the books I’m currently reading.
Detox – We’re currently reading this book with our Elders.
Spiritual Leadership – I think this book will be next for our Elders. - MacBook Pro – I love my MacBook Pro. But I love Jesus and my wife more.
- iPhone – This is the first phone that I actually LOVE. It’s an equal kind of love with my MacBook Pro.
- Action Method – I’ve just recently began using this and so far I like it. So far it’s pretty good for project management. There’s a cool iphone app for it.
- MindMeister – I’ve also started mind mapping. I’ve got so many thoughts running through my head and this is a great way for me to jot them all down. There’s also a cool iPhone app for it as well.
- Evernote – This is another tool to help me with saving ideas so I can easily retrieve them later. And yes, there’s a cool iPhone app for it.
- Moleskin – When I want to go old school and actually write down some thoughts and take notes, this is what I use. I wish they had an iPhone app for this.
